It's Been a Good Ride!
This last day of racing here at Beulah Park marks the end of the 91 years of racing at Ohio's first thoroughbred track. For most of our loyal customers, horsemen and employees, it marks the end of an era. In recent weeks, as we have been preparing for this day, more and more individuals have been coming to me with stories about visiting the track with their parents and grandparents, how they mucked stalls as a teenager for their first job, all the like. It is abundantly clear that Beulah Park has played a major role in many more lives than I had previously realized.
To all who have been a part of Beulah Park's long and rich legacy, I hope your next ride will be a good one.

Our auctioneer, B.J. Jennings, explains it this way: “Not only will this be a great opportunity for businesses to buy good used equipment, but more importantly, these auctions will give the community an opportunity to take home a piece of their history. Beulah Park has created so many memories for everyone that worked, grew up in and around the park, watched the races or participated in one of the many other special activities. A public auction is such a great equalizer, because everyone gets an equal chance to buy the things they want or need. At the Beulah Park auctions, there really will be something for everyone.”
Jennings Auction Group has prior experience with a Penn National Gaming property as they previously conducted a similar auction at the Penn National property in Grantville, Pennsylvania in 2006, when Penn National removed their old grandstand facility and added a casino to the property. More information about the content of the specific auctions will be available at www.jenningsauction.com as we get closer to the auction dates.
