BEULAH TO HOST FIRST NHC QUALIFIER DECEMBER 9
Grove
City, Ohio (October 13, 2005) – Beulah Park will offer its first annual
Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship qualifier on
Saturday, December 9, 2006. In addition to substantial prize money, the
contest will offer a total of six (6) spots to the January 2007 national
finals in Las Vegas. This year, the total prize money awarded at the
NHC finals is expected to approach $1 million.
Entries
for the contest will be $150 each with a maximum of two entries per person.
Beulah Park will return 85 percent of entry fees in the form of prize money
to top finishing players, which means that the winner could receive as much

pool breakdown will be announced the day of the contest.
The
format of the contest is designed to model that of the NHC finals.
Players will make mythical $2 Win/Place wagers on a single horse among 15
races, of which seven races will be mandatory live races from Beulah Park.
The remaining eight races may be played from any of the designated optional
racetracks, which will be posted no later than one week prior to the contest
at Beulah Park’s website at
www.beulahpark.com.
Interested players should complete the entry form available at
beulahpark.com or on-site at the General Office. Walk-up registration
on December 9 will be accepted, but please note that the deadline for day-of
registration will be 11:30 a.m. ET.
