Tommeyesgold Hits Jackpot In Glacial Princess

Eugene Daniels’ Tommeyesgold
led early and dueled gamely to collect her first career stakes win in the
$40,000 Glacial Princess at Beulah Park on Saturday. Eight accredited Ohio
bred 2-year-old fillies set sail as Tommeyesgold took charge with Mercy and
Silky Tab in close pursuit. Turning for home, Sybles Angel moved up to
challenge the pace setters but was turned back with less than 100 yards to
run. Drawing away to a 1-1/2-length victory, Tommeyesgold ran the 1 Mile
over the fast track in 1:40 4/5.
Ridden by Ivan Gonzalez for trainer Ivan Vazquez, Tommeyesgold paid $4.40,
$2.80 and $2.20 as the wagering favorite. Sybles Angel finished second and
returned $7.00 and $3.80. Mercy faded to third and had a payoff of $2.10
Beulah Park races five days a week Tuesday through Saturday. First post time
on Tuesdays is 12:55 p.m. while post times Wednesday through Saturday are
12:25 p.m. for the Ohio 7/7 card.
‘Road’ Rolls to Victory in Friday Feature

Shazam Stables’ Yankee Road
improved his record to three for four lifetime at Beulah Park with his win
in the featured race Friday. Seven Ohio bred allowance runners squared off
as Yankee Road grabbed command early and drew off to an 8-1/4 length
victory. The running time for the six furlongs over the fast track was a
quick 1:09 1/5.
Ridden by Ivan Gonzalez for trainer Ivan Vazquez, Yankee Road returned
$4.00, $2.40 and $2.60. R and R Express stalked the pace to finish second
and paid $3.60 and $3.00. Cast No Shadows closed well for third and returned
his backers $3.60.
Live racing returns to Beulah Park on Saturday with the Ohio seven and seven
program. The Saturday feature is the running of the $40,000 Glacial Princess
Stakes for accredited Ohio bred 2-year-old fillies. First post time is 12:25
p.m.

Racing was cancelled after
the third race on Tuesday, November 16, to resume on Friday, November 18

Citidellino Turns Tables on Eyes of the Critic

Citidellino stalked rapid early fractions before pouncing on the front
runner to win the featured race at Beulah Park on Tuesday. Seven claimers
dueled in the third leg of the Sprint Series as Pal’s Pro dashed to the
front with Citidellino in close pursuit. Splashing through the home stretch,
Citidellino slowly wore down the leader and drew clear to a ¾ length
victory. The running time for the five furlongs was a solid 58 1/5 over the
sloppy track.
The Sprint Series is a set
of four races ran at Beulah Park during the Fall Meet. Each races decreases
in distance from six to four and one half furlongs. The fourth and final leg
will be contested on December 6, 2005 at the distance of four and one half
furlongs
Ridden by Edgar Paucar for
trainer Larry Roe, Citidellino paid $9.40, $4.80 and $3.60. Pal’s Pro faded
to second and returned $6.60 and $3.20. Senor Grand Day closed well for
third and paid his backer $3.40. Wagering favorite Eyes of the Critic
finished fifth.
