Harold Bragg’s Bri’s Bad Boy
had to battle every step of the way to win the featured race at Beulah Park
on Saturday. Eight Ohio bred claimers dueled with Bri’s Bad Boy assuming
command while being pursued intently by Saint D.M. Moving around the turn,
Bri’s Bad Boy repelled the challenge of Saint D.M. only to be confronted by
Flight Seven with less than 100 yards to run. Winning by a head, Bri’s Bad
Boy covered the six furlongs over the fast track in 1:12.
Ridden by Ivan Gonzalez for trainer Patricia Bragg, Bri’s Bad Boy returned
$9.00, $4.20 and $3.00. Flight Seven closed strongly for second and paid
$4.60 and $4.00. Choo Choo Chad finished third and had a payoff of $6.60.

Quiet Dinner Quickest in Friday Feature

Quiet Dinner dashed away from the field early and kept plenty in reserve to
be victorious at Beulah Park on Friday. Nine claimers battled as Quiet
Dinner took the lead with Sister Velma chasing second. Turning for home,
Quiet Dinner shrugged off the challenge from Sister Velma as well as the
late-closing Kissin It Away to win by a nose. Quiet Dinner covered the six
furlongs over the fast track in 1:11 4/5.
Ridden by Luis Martinez, Jr., Quiet Dinner paid $11.60, $5.80 and $4.80.
Favored Kissin It Away finished second and returned $4.80 and $3.20. Guapita
closed well for third and returned her backers $5.60.

Award closed strongly from the back of the pack to beat the boys in the
featured race at Beulah Park on Wednesday. Nine allowance runners dueled as
Absultootly and Derby Dan clashed for early supremacy. Relaxed near the rear
of the field, Annie’s Award began to pass her rivals and forged to the front
midway down the home stretch. Digging in gamely to win by a head, Annie’s
Award covered the 1 1/16 miles over the fast track in 1:48.
Ridden by Christian Rojas for trainer Jeff Greenhill, Annie’s Award paid
$10.00, $3.40 and $2.60. Slim Kim closed forcefully to finish second and
returned $2.80 and $2.20. Absultootly faded to third and paid his backers
$2.80.

Dance With A Fool Has All The Right Moves

Dance With a Fool stalked the early leader before pulling away to victory in
the featured race at Beulah Park on Tuesday. Ten Ohio bred claimers dueled
as Setch took the early lead with Dance With a Fool following intently from
second. With less than a half mile to go Dance With a Fool went on the
offensive and wrestled the lead away from Setch. Clearing off to a 3-length
win, Dance With a Fool covered the 1 Mile over the fast track in 1:40 2/5.
Ridden by Edgar Paucar, Dance With a Fool paid $9.80, $6.20 and $4.20. Setch
faded to second and returned $8.60 and $6.20. Fierce Cat closed strongly for
third and returned his backers $3.20
