Gate To Wire For Tracmac In Beulah Feature

Mike Friedman s Tracmac
cruised comfortably to victory in the featured race Saturday at Beulah Park.
Eight claimers battled as Tracmac sprinted to the lead and never looked
back. Drawing away, Tracmac won by 2 lengths in 1:15 1/5 for the six
furlongs on the fast track.
Ridden by Christian Rojas
for trainer Reid Gross, Tracmac paid $6.80, $4.40 and $3.40. Jancy Girl
closed strongly for second and returned $6.40 and $4.40. Perfect Darling
finished third and had a payoff of $3.40.
Live racing returns to
Beulah Park on Monday with nine live races. Monday s co-feature is The Cupid
s Arrow allowance for fillies and mares three-year-old and upward.

Stakes Caliber Field Assembled For Monday

Multiple stakes winners
Just Michel and Mercer’s Launch headline a group of top-class fillies and
mares in The Cupid’s Arrow allowance on Monday at Beulah Park. Trained by
Mike Nance, Just Michel comes out of a victory in the $20,000 Samuel
Handicap on December 18 where she narrowly defeated Mercer’s Launch in the
final strides. A daughter of Pacific Waves, Just Michel is 2 for 3 lifetime
at Beulah including a victory in the 2003 Scarlet and Grey Handicap.
Mercer’s Launch owns an
impressive win in the 2004 Scarlet and Grey Handicap and the Albert Palacios
trainee shows signs that she is ready with a 1:00 flat five furlong bullet
workout on February 1. The daughter of Ohio Champion Sire Mercer Mill has
amassed over $165,000 in 33 starts.
Other contenders for this
six furlong contest include Kristans Afleet, who has reeled off two
consecutive victories this winter over the Beulah oval, One Eyed Jackie, who
is 2 for 4 at Beulah Park and Patti’s Clown, who has won two starts in three
attempts since relocating to Grove City in December of 2004. The Cupid’s
Arrow is the fifth race on the Monday program.

Smooth Sailing For Yankee Road In Feature

Shazam Stables’ Yankee
Road drew away strongly to be victorious in the featured race at Beulah Park
on Friday. Nine Ohio bred allowance runners squared off as Majesty Cat
dashed to the front. Despite a slow start, Yankee Road rushed to collar the
leader as the field moved into the turn. Yankee Road shot past the
pacesetter and drove home to a 7-¼-length victory. The running time for the
six furlongs on the fast track was 1:14 2/5.
Ridden by Ivan Gonzalez
for conditioner Albert Palacios, Yankee Road paid $7.80, $5.20 and $3.80.
Geist Buster closed well for second and returned $6.60 and $5.80. Finders
Chance faded to third and paid his backer $7.80.

Beulah Park on Saturday with eight live races.

Third Musketeer Solid In Victory At Beulah Park

T.C. Stables LLC’s Third
Musketeer strolled home stylishly the win the featured race at Beulah Park
on Monday. Eight allowance runners dueled as Marys Mon sprinted to the front
with Porfirio Cadena in close pursuit. Restrained early, Third Musketeer
assumed the lead as the field turned for home and drew away to a ¾ length
victory. The running time for the 1 mile over the fast track was 1:43 2/5.
Ridden by Luis Martinez,
Jr. for trainer Kelly Ackerman, Third Musketeer returned $6.20, $3.20 and
$2.40. Aces and Eights rallied strongly for second and paid $3.40 and $2.60.
Papa’s Prize finished a distant third and paid his backers $3.60.
Live racing returns to
Beulah Park on Tuesday with nine live races. Tuesday’s feature is the second
leg of the Bluegrass Warrior Distance Series at 1-¼-miles. Convexity looks
to capture the first two legs of the series as he is challenged by Scout Me
and Chance Kyl.
First post time is set for 1:15 p.m.
