Scioto Farms Supply Inc’s Scioto Bootski drew clear of the field in the Saturday feature at Beulah Park. A field of seven allowance runners saw Scioto Bootski battle with pacesetter Prissy Linda through the first half of the race. Scioto Bootski powered clear down the stretch to a 4-¾ length victory. The running time of 59 1/5 for the five furlongs was the second fastest of the Fall Meet.

Ridden by Ivan Gonzalez for trainer Albert Palacios, Scioto Bootski paid $4.60, $2.80 and $2.80 as the favorite in the wagering. Prissy Linda held gamely for second and returned $4.60 and $3.60. Escapade closed well for third and had a show pay of $3.60.

Goldharbor Express Springs The Upset In Feature

Joe C Faulkner’s Goldharbor Express out-dueled a field of accomplished sprinters in the Friday feature at Beulah Park. Battling all the way, Goldharbor Express was able to shrug off the challenge of Sligo Creek down the lane to win by 1 length. The running time of 1:06 3/5 for the 5 ½ furlongs was the second fastest time of the meet for that distance.

Ridden by Marco Ccamaque, Goldharbor Express paid $30.00. $11.40 and $7.00 as the fourth longest shot on the board. Sligo Creek held on to second and returned $6.40 and $3.40. General Josh rushed up for third and had a pay of $3.00.

Secret Compliance Cruises Home In The Feature

Owner-trainer Joe C. Faulkner’s Secret Compliance crushed a field of $7,500 claimers in the featured race at Beulah Park on Thursday. Leading from gate to wire, Secret Compliance pulled away to a 3-¾-length victory in a time of 1:00 for the five furlongs. This marked the seventh victory in twenty-one starts for this five-year-old Texas-bred.

Ridden by Marco Ccamaque, Secret Compliance paid $3.40, $2.80 and $2.40 as the heavy favorite. Shamelessly held on for second and returned $4.40 and $3.40. Seul Flight rounded out the show spot and had a payoff of $3.00.

Owner-trainer Gina Hunt's Bunnyinthebank cruised to a powerful victory in the featured race at Beulah Park on Tuesday. Stalking the early pace, Bunnyinthebank pounced on the pacesetters moving into the last turn. Bunnyinthebank then pulled away from the field winning by 6 ¼ lengths in a running time of 1:43 4/5 for the 1 mile distance.

Ridden by Nathan Solomon, Bunnyinthebank paid $9.00, $5.20 and $2.80 as the third choice in the wagering. Miss Adams finished second and returned $3.40 and $2.40. Charm the Angels was a distant third and had a payoff of $2.40.

Kentucky Trust Noses Out The Competition
October 3, 2004

Daniel Brafford’s Kentucky Trust outlasted three other contenders to win the featured race at Beulah Park on Sunday. Taking the lead from the start, Kentucky Trust fought with fellow front-runners Life’s Crown and Steel On Target throughout the one mile and seventy yard contest. Kentucky Trust left enough in the tank to hold off Steel On Target and late closing Malalco to the finish. The running time was 1:47.

Ridden by Perry Ouzts for trainer Michelle Brafford, Kentucky Trust returned $6.60, $3.80 and $2.80 as the second choice in the wagering. Steel On Target held on to second and paid $5.60 and $3.00. Favorite Malalco was third and had a show pay of $3.00.
